Brought together by a broken washing machine in 2019, this indie-rock quartet from Wollongong, New South Wales is sure to be a favourite of fans of Tired Lion, Eliza & The Delusionals, and Alex Lahey. Featuring frontwoman Lizzie Jack, alongside guitarist James Daniel, bassist Alex Fordyce, and drummer Paddy Harris, Lizzie Jack and the Beanstalks began their journey in Paddy's garage where they wrote and recorded their debut EP, Things I Shouldn't Talk About.
I recently caught up with the band to discuss all things music and life in quarantine, and with plans already forming for their next release and a potential East Coast tour, this is one group you won't want to miss. Watch the full interview here.
